Whiting Davis Gold Mesh Clutch Purse 1930s Mint Unused
This is a gorgeous and rare 1930's Whiting & Davis gold mesh clutch purse, in wonderful mint unused condition.
The purse opens by lifting the up the clasp. It has very shiny gold mesh, and a satin gold tone frame. It also has a matching mesh strap handle on the back of the bag. It has no missing or damaged mesh.
It has the "Whiting & Davis" hallmark tag inside, as well as both side of the frame having the hallmarked stamp. There is one small pocket inside for smaller items, with the original hazy double sided mirror. The lining is in mint condition, with no marks or stains. A perfect wedding or evening bag.
The purse measures approximately 5 3/4 inches in height by 6 1/4 inches across the bottom of the bag.
We've never found another one like this. It's a great little evening bag or special occasion purse, or perfect to add to your purse collection.
