1930's Evans Silver Mesh Powder And Mirror Compact Rare

This is a lovely vintage 1930's etched silver mesh powder and mirror compact by Evans. It measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and has a silver mesh bottom. The mesh and the top of the lid are in wonderful condition, with no missing links to the mesh. It does have some corrosion around the inside edge surrounding the lid, but not on the outside. It opens to a hazy mirror, as can be seen in our photo, and an empty but used powder well. The piece is hallmarked Evans on the interior edge of the compact, and displays well.
