Deere Art Nouveau Gold Compact Box 1920s Nude Powder Tin Rare
This is an extremely rare 1920's Art Nouveau Deere powder compact tin in a gold tone metal with a gorgeous raised relief design.
The piece measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch in height.
It is hallmarked "Deere" in fancy script above the partially nude woman holding a hand held mirror. Below it is hallmarked "The Reich Ash Co., NY".
This compact is in good condition, with only some minor age appropriate tarnish, wear and dings to the piece.
The interior has a glass mirror in good condition. It also has a handmade unused silk powder puff. The hinge and clasp work well, and it closes securely.
This is a wonderfully unique piece that displays beautifully. It would make a great addition to any vintage compact collection.
