Taj Mahal Cigarette Case Business Card Case 1950s Mother Of Pearl & Abalone EMU Mid Century Case
This is a gorgeous vintage 1950's EMU brand Sylva-Chrome cigarette case with carved mother of pearl and abalone Taj Mahal inlay. This case was made in England.
This case is in wonderful unused condition; with a chrome based case with the lid covered in carved mother of pearl and abalone shell with a central theme of the Taj Mahal.
It opens to a clean interior. The hinge and closure work perfectly. The only issue we could find was a few very faint indentations to the bottom of the case; they are barely visible, but for accuracy we wanted to mention it.
The case is hallmarked with the "EMU" name, and made in England; and also has the original insert inside. The metal spring holder is also in excellent condition, with good tension.
It measures approximately 5 inches in length by 3 1/2 inches in width, and would work well for many uses; including cash, business cards or credit cards.
A great piece to gift or use for business and credit cards, and comes with a lovely white slip case.
