This is a lovely Art Nouveau powder box of Richard Hudnut's Sweet Orchid Face Powder.
The box has a wonderful unique shape with gorgeous embossed litho graphics of pink orchids and gold trim.
It opens to a clean peach color interior. The powder box measures 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches, and is made of heavy cardboard.
The bottom is tagged with the color "Brunette". The box does have show some ever so slight age related wear, as can be viewed in our photos.
We saw one of these powder boxes sell on ebay for $256 plus shipping. This is a great buy for this rare and lovely powder box in beautiful condition.
