This is a gorgeous and very rare vintage 1929 Djer Kiss silver plated powder, rouge and mirror compact.
This piece has a beautiful raised Art Deco design on the lid, and is silver plated with no loss of silver. It measures approximately 2 inches square and is 1/2 an inch thick.
There are two compartments, one for powder, and one for rouge that is behind the two sided mirror. The rouge and powder compartments are empty. The compact is hallmarked at the clasp with "Djer Kiss". The mirrors are in great usable condition.
The hinges and closures work perfectly on this piece. It has a slide closure that locks the compact securely closed.
