This is a beautiful 1940's Victorian figural lady porcelain powder jar or box that was made in occupied Japan.
It's in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or missing paint; and is hallmarked in red on the bottom "Made In Occupied Japan". It measures approximately 6 inches in height and is about 4 1/2 inches across.
She would make a stunning dresser or vanity accessory with her ruffled blue, pink and white floral gown, with touches of gold.
