1920s Evans Compact Purse Art Nouveau Enamel Powder Rouge Compact Dance Purse Finger Ring
Another beautiful Evans 1920's Art Nouveau silver tone and black enamel powder compact purse with chain and finger ring.
The piece is in excellent condition, with no loss of enamel, dents, dings, rust or corrosion; only minor light scuffing.
It has a pretty Art Nouveau black enamel design on the lid; and the back has a linear engine turned design.
The piece has wonderful details; and opens to a powder well with powder plate; that has most of the powder remaining, and an unused handmade powder puff.
Behind the lid is a clear useable mirror, and an oval rouge compartment; and the piece is hallmarked "Evans" under the mirror.
It has a delicate link chain and the finger ring is beautifully decorated with a repousse pattern.
The compact measures approximately 2 inches square not including the clasp, chain and finger ring; and is approximately 3/8th to 1/2 an inch in thickness.
It comes in a lovely black decorative gift box with black satin lining; making it perfect for gifting.
