Sterling Silver Snuff Box Finger Ring Compact Antique Dance Purse 1800's Pill Holder
This is a lovely little antique late 1800's to early 1900's sterling silver dance compact purse, snuff or pill box with finger ring.
It measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and weighs 15.8 grams.
It is hallmarked on the edge of the lip with "Sterling", and there is a double figure eight.
It has engraved initials on the lid that are very hard to read in old script, but appears to be "PHR".
This piece dates to the late 1800's to early 1900's, and is in very good condition for it's age.
It does have a pencil point sized ding on the lid, that can clearly be seen, but should be able to be rubbed out by a jeweler, and some very slight dings to the bottom.
The hinge and closure work perfectly.
The sterling chain and ring are in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.
