Silver Victorian Compact Purse Guilloche Wristlet Makeup Compact Dance Purse
This is a stunning 1920's guilloche silver tone compact purse with wristlet chain.
The piece is in excellent condition, with no dents, dings, rust or corrosion, and has a lovely and intricate repousse edge around the compact. The lid of the compact has a gorgeous guilloche surround with a blank cartouche in the shape of a shield to add your initials.
The compact is a larger size measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter, not including the clasp, and is 3/4 of an inch in thickness. The wristlet adds an approximate 4 1/2 inch drop from the top of the compact.
It opens to a clean powder compartment and it has a glass mirror with a slight amount of silvering and haze. It still casts a good reflection. It also has an empty rouge compartment behind the mirror. The interior has some lovely holographic patterns on the back of the mirror and surrounding the rouge compartment. The compact purse has a detachable wristlet chain that is also in excellent condition.
This is a unique piece in wonderful condition, with no serious damage, just light scuffing. A perfect compact purse to add to any vintage collection.
