This is a beautiful and rare 1800's French filigree powder compact with a pretty bezel set carved cameo, amber jewels and pearls; and it's in wonderful condition.
It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and opens to a clear framed glass mirror, the original powder plate with powder and powder puff.
The hinge and closure work as they should. There are no missing stones and no dents or dings to this lovely vanity compact. Light aged patina to the exterior.
