1930s Mondaine Leather Book Compact Vintage Powder Rouge And Mirror Art Deco Compact
This is a absolutely stunning circa 1930's Art Deco leather book style Mondaine powder, rouge and mirror compact.
The piece is in wonderful condition, with no damage to the leather exterior.
It comes complete, with the original powder puffs, powder and rouge.
The piece measures 2 3/4 inches by 2 inches, and is hallmarked "MONDAINE" on the binding.
The exterior has a lovely colorful Art Deco design on the leather lid, and a pretty gold design on the black leather back side. It is trimmed out in a gold tone metal.
The only issue with this fantastic piece is some haze and silver loss to the beveled mirror, which is so common in these pieces.
This is a fabulous collectors piece that will certainly enhance any compact collection.
