Antique Cigarette Case E B M Co. 1900's Cigarette Case Edwardian Card Case Antique RARE
This is a beautiful and rare Edwardian 1900's cigarette or card case by E. B. M Company of Attleboro, MA.
It's a pretty silver plated case; with the interior having a spring loaded clip to hold your cigarettes in place.
The case has a cartouche with the initials "TEK" very faintly engraved on the lid; and the case measures approximately 3 3/4 inches in length by 3 inches in width.
It has a pretty repousse pattern around the edges of the case, and the back side has a shiny almost mirror-like silver plated finish.
The case is hallmarked "E.B. M. Co. Made In USA" on the spring loaded interior clip.
The E. B. M. company eventually went on to become Marathon.
This case only shows very slight wear, including faint scuffing, and some interior faint tiny age spots. Displays beautifully; check our high resolution photos by clicking on them for more detailed views. No dents, rust or corrosion on this lovely case.
The hinge and closure, as well as the spring loaded clip all work perfectly.
