Vintage Cigarette Box Dispenser 1940's Japan Brass Tabletop Cigarette Case
This is a rare and wonderfully unique made in Japan 1940's cigarette tabletop box or dispenser.
The box is in very good condition, but it does have some age related tarnish; which only enhances the beautiful raised design on all sides of the piece. The hinges work well and it opens to two slotted rows of brass shelves with a lifting bar to dispense your cigarettes.
The piece is hallmarked on the bottom with the company logo; which is the letter "M" in a diamond shape. It also is hallmarked "Made In Japan", as well as some Japanese hallmarks and the number "100749".
It is approximately 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches in height. It's a very heavy well made piece.
