Finberg Mfg Co Compact Purse 1910s Guilloche Silver And Gold Filled Wristlet Purse FMC
This is a stunning 1910's Finberg Mfg. Co silver and gold filled guilloche compact wristlet purse in excellent condition.
This piece is in near mint condition, with no dents, dings, rust or corrosion, and still contains the original powder puffs. The only issue we could find is some haze to the still usable mirror, and very minor scuffing to the compact that is not noticeable.
The compact purse still retains the original shine, and is really stunning. It has an ornate repousse design around the edges, as well as a gorgeous engine turned design on both the front and back of the piece.
It has two empty lipstick cases inside the compact, and the paper refill liner under the powder compartment; and the compact is hallmarked on the frame of the mirror with the "FMC" stamp.
The compact itself measures 3 inches in length; with the latch adding an additional 1/2 inch. The width of the compact is 2 inches.
The silver and gold filled wristlet bar and chain is nicely detailed, and shiny, and the drop from the top of the compact is approximately 5 1/2 inches.
This is one of the most beautiful pieces we've found, and is in wonderful condition. A fabulous addition to any compact or purse collection. Any dark marks are reflections while photographing, and not damage.
