Vintage Karess Woodworth Silver Guilloche Compact 1917 Enamel Powder Rouge Compact Rare
This is a very rare and lovely vintage 1917 silver tone guilloche and grey blue enamel Karess Woodworth powder and rouge compact.
The piece is in lovely condition; and opens to a solid powder plate with powder. It also has a separate covered rouge compartment with the rouge plate. It comes with the two powder puffs; one for each compartment.
The mirror is in very good condition; and the "Karess Woodworth" hallmark is present on the mirror frame near the hinge.
The only issues to note are some very mild scuffing and a tarnish spot to the bottom of the compact, as can be viewed in our last photo. The grey/blue enamel Greek key design is in great condition.. The piece displays beautifully; and would make a wonderful addition to any vanity or antique collection. It's very rare to find one of these compacts in the silver tone color. A must for the Karess Woodworth collector.
