Vintage Volupte Compact Purse & Cigarette Case 1950s Enameled Asian Animal Design GORGEOUS
This is a gorgeous 1950's Volupte powder, rouge and lipstick compact purse with cigarette case.
Both sides of the compact are enameled in the lovely Asian animal design. Even the all edges of the purse have an intricate enameled design.
Inside, the lower compartment includes a separate covered powder well, another compartment for small items, and another covered compartment for rouge and lip rouge.
The two sided metal mirror is in shiny good condition. The mirror is spring loaded to keep your cigarettes, currency, credit cards, business cards, and other items firmly in place in the upper compartment.
The compact purse is in excellent condition, with very minimal signs of any wear. No enamel loss, and no dents, rust or corrosion on this lovely essential purse.
The purse measures 5 1/4 inches in length by 3 inches in width by 5/8 of an inch in thickness.
It is hallmarked "VOLUPTE USA" on the top lid of the powder compartment.
This is a wonderful piece to add to any collection, and a great piece for use. It comes with a white storage pouch.
